It’s that time of year again – time to submit your nominations for our “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” awards. So, how do you feel about the things that have changed in and around Chester over the past twelve months? Please use the online form to identify your suggestions for The Good, the Bad & the Ugly.

You can nominate new or recently restored buildings but please remember that the awards include the smaller, less prestigious changes to our built environment. Specific examples might be well maintained retail or commercial premises, good signage of a heritage trail, the introduction of public art into an open space, sensitive new street furniture or lighting. Within the city, roads and paving and ‘the public realm’ are all very important. More general initiatives which improve the city’s cleanliness and safety, or enhance the quality of public open spaces will also be recognised. Campaigns and initiatives that protect our heritage and provide public access are also important, as are contributions to Chester’s cultural and leisure facilities.

To nominate any item of your choice use this form  to make your nomination. Please give a brief reason for your nomination and indicate whether, in your opinion, it is Good, Bad or Ugly. Remember, this is a personal view: there’s no need to listen to what others may say!  You can submit as many nominations as you wish.
